Forest Oak Sponsors The Wildlife Trust

Here at Forest Oak we have decided to now sponsor The Shropshire Wildlife Trust to support their amazing work. This is to support their work maintaining and preserving our beautiful countryside here in Shropshire.

“We have has such a good year in terms of sales with profits increasing on last year”, Said Jamie Doran, Managing Director.

“This was partly to do without attending the Grand Designs show and partly due to a surge in demand for oak frame kits”

This is what prompted Forest Oak to support the local wildlife charity.

“Here at Forest Oak we get to work in some beautiful rural areas on some stunning buildings, so we really wanted to give something back to supporting these beautiful landscapes”

Here at Forest Oak we create stunning oak porches, extensions, garages, and carports. We have also pledged to provide the Wildlife Trust with wood for their project building nest boxes for Pine Martens in South Shropshire. Their presence in and around Clun has been a recent discovery and supporting the reintroduction of this rare native breed is very important to Forest Oak.

“We are hoping to become more and more involved with supporting local wildlife as our business grows and profits increase. Regardless of Brexit, we feel that we are in a strong position to continue to grow our business through 2019. This will hopefully mean building on our corporate partnership with the Wildlife Trust.”
